TAEMIN has not only made a triumphant return to the music scene with his current album, “GUILTY,” but he has also broken records with it. His fourth mini album, released on October 30th, is already a commercial success.
According to SHINee Charts (@shineecharts on X), ‘GUILTY’ has sold a whopping 198,305 copies in its first week. TAEMIN has become the most successful male solo artist of the second generation in terms of record sales in the first week. Furthermore, ‘GUILTY’ has become TAEMIN’s most successful release to date on the Hanteo Chart, further establishing his position as a K-pop heavyweight. SHINee Charts also revealed TAEMIN’s best-ever album sales in its first week:

TAEMIN’s First Day of Release Sold 100,000 Copies
SHINee’s maknae Taemin broke a new milestone for himself as his fourth EP Guilty sold more than 100K copies within the first day of its release, according to Hanteo statistics. His previous best was the first-day sales of 60,000 for his third extended play, Advice.
Taemin’s musical fingerprints are all over “Guilty,” making it a classic example of his work. The dance in this video is captivating and flows effortlessly, creating a mystical atmosphere. The music video is a must-watch and will greatly enhance the experience of listening to the song. Shinee is a popular boy band from South Korea. As a result of their significant impact on the South Korean music industry, they have been dubbed “Princes of K-pop” and have won numerous honours for their work. Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin are the group’s current lineup of members. Initially, Shinee was a five-member group, but they endured the devastating loss of vocalist Jonghyun, who went away in December 2017.

What TAEMIN has been up to Lately?
TAEMIN is a singer of the groundbreaking K-pop group SHINee, who released their first record, the smash hit “Replay,” in 2008. In 2014, the singer-songwriter dropped his debut EP, Ace, featuring the hit “Danger.”
TAEMIN’s first release after leaving the military was the EP Guilty, which he released on October 30 along with a song video. In December, he’ll be doing a solo concert titled “Metamorph” at Incheon’s Inspire Arena. Recently, during a Guilty promotional event, he spoke highly of SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi, who is as outspoken in his admiration for SHINee.
