Production didn’t get rolling until March, a full month after the team had originally planned to begin on February 14, Valentine’s Day. The third season was announced in October of 2020, and unless the decision to cancel the show has been reversed, it appears that this will be the last season.

Ted Lasso Season 3 Plot

If the second season of Ted Lasso is any indication (and we’re assuming this is the final season), they’ve got a lot of ground to cover. Their primary objective: will AFC Richmond be able to win the Premier League by beating West Ham? The second is whether or not they can convince Nate to turn back from the dark side. As season two came to a close, a resentful Nate felt underappreciated and, following a fight with Ted, he defected to West Ham, whose ownership is now held by Rebecca’s d-bag ex-husband Rupert.
