Clayface, one of the villains from Batman 2, will make his theatrical debut in the Elseworlds series. A recent story about Batman – Part II said that Robert Pattinson’s Batman would face a new enemy in the DC Extended Universe.
Warner Bros. is hard at work putting together the group for Batman 2, and Robert Pattinson is getting ready for his second time in the cape and cowl. The sequel won’t come out for over two and a half years.
Fans can’t wait to see how Paul Dano’s Riddler’s bomb blast hurts Bruce Wayne, and it’s been announced that Andy Serkis will return to his part as Alfred, Bruce Wayne’s longtime butler.
Dano will also try to get back at Bruce Wayne in The Batman 2, which is likely to have him as one of the bad guys along with Colin Farrell’s Penguin after Farrell’s own HBO Max series comes out.

Who Is the New Bad Guy in the Next Batman Movie?
A rumor from Deadline says that the DC character Clayface would play a big part in Matt Reeves’ The Batman – Part II, which is set to come out in late 2025. In the sequel to Matt Reeves’ The Batman, he will join the Riddler and the Penguin as a new villain, but no character has been chosen yet.
Matthew Hagen, a treasure hunter, is the first Clayface. He runs into a radioactive pool of protoplasm and turns into a clay-like material. In the comics, two Clayface figures stand out. This gives him control over his body whenever he wants, but he has to return to the protoplasm source to get more energy before he can use his skills again.
The original, also known as Basil “Baz” Karlo, is a B-list star who once played the bad guy Clayface. He finds out that a movie he was in is being remade. He kills the other players from the first “Dread Castle” movie before going after the actor who replaced him as Clayface.
This is part of a story that says director Mike Flanagan gave Warner Bros. a script with Clayface as the main character. Deadline said that Flanagan’s Clayface would not be shown as a monster, which is how he is usually shown.
Mike Flanagan tweeted after that story that the information was “totally speculative” and that he would let the public know if it happened:
“Re: CLAYFACE – the news today is entirely speculative. When or if something like that ever becomes real, I promise I’ll tell you guys. :)”

In the Batman 2, How Will Matt Reeves Bring Clayface to Life?
Fans have seen a lot of Clayface because Alan Tudyk was the main character in the cartoon Harley Quinn series that fans could watch on HBO Max. Warner Bros. will definitely try to show a much darker and more realistic villain this time.
Clayface is the most bizarre enemy Matt Reeves has yet to face. He will be working with the Penguin, the Riddler, and finally, Barry Keoghan’s Joker. Fans are now interested in how Clayface will be brought to life.
Reeves says that most of the plot of Batman 2 will be set up on HBO Max. This means that fans may get a glimpse of Clayface before the character makes his big screen debut in the Elseworlds series.
Even though the movie will start shooting in just a few months, there is still a lot of work to be done to fit this famous Dark Knight foe into this dark and dangerous world.
