Tuesday saw the release of the last chapter of the Dragon Goes House-Hunting (Dragon, Ie o Kau.) spinoff manga in the June edition of Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Garden magazine. Immediately following the conclusion of the original manga in December, Tanuki and Aya published the spinoff manga in Monthly Comic Garden in January.
In December 2016, the Dragon Went House-Hunting manga was published in Monthly Comic Garden. The manga had been a very popular title, according to the parent business of Mag Garden, IG Port, who disclosed this in its quarterly financial report in October 2017. Mag Garden released the manga’s ninth collected book volume in October 2022.
Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the manga in English, and the eighth volume was released on January 3. On October 17, the manga’s ninth volume will be removed. Seven Seas summarizes the plot of the manga:
A dragon is expelled from his family after he falls short of the terrifying expectations placed on him. He sets out to search for a new home but quickly realizes that the road is not the place for a cowardly beast of legend. The difficulties of house shopping take on a whole new dimension in a magical world filled with elves, dwarves, and other mythological creatures, where everyone literally wants a piece of him.
