The Escape Of The Seven Season 2′ Gets a New Director

SBS has announced that “The Last Empress” and “The Penthouse: War in Life” trilogy director Joo Dong Min will not return for Season 2. The second season of “The Escape of the Seven” will be directed by his co-director from the first season.

Representatives have confirmed that “Director Oh Joon Hyuk, who co-directed Season 1, will be helming Season 2,” adding, “The decision was made in accordance with internal discussions.”

The critically acclaimed series “The Penthouse” was co-created by director Joo Dong Min and writer Kim Soon Ok, who later collaborated with Dong Min on “The Last Empress” and “The Escape of the Seven.”

It’s worth noting that the current SBS show has been criticized for having unnecessarily explicit and dramatic sequences, which have left some fans feeling let down.

“The Escape of the Seven” received eight official complaints after the outcry. As a result, the Defense Commission has read the civil complaint and determined whether or not it should be added to the agenda for further discussion.

What Happened in the Final Episode of The Escape Of The Seven Season 1?

Just six episodes have been released so far. There is still more than half of the show left before we can make any predictions about how it will end. It’s tough to make educated guesses about what will happen in this series because of how cryptic and ambiguous it is.

It has been established that the seven suspects escaped the island where they had been trapped and returned home, where they discovered a cryptic letter that could have a life-altering message scrawled on it. Matthew Lee, their savior, arrives on the scene with a strategy to protect them from law enforcement inquiries.

As Season 1 of “The Escape of the Seven” comes to a close later this year, Season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in the first part of 2024.
