The Ghost and Molly McGee Season 2: The Plot
We learn the narrative of a young girl named Molly McGee, who moves into her new house with a short-tempered ghost named Scratch and becomes best friends with him.
Despite their disparate backgrounds, they form an unusual friendship and embark on an adventure. Using Scratch, Molly is able to cope with the highs and lows of adolescence more easily.
Molly is the only one who knows about Scratch. It’s clear that Molly’s best friend Libby has an inkling that Molly is keeping something from her. If Molly tells anyone about Scratch, it will make him seem less frightening.
Molly lies to Libby, stating that Molly has gone to Canada and she is Milly, Molly’s cousin who moved from Canada. Molly cannot hide the fact that she has a ghost buddy.
In the end, Libby discovers that Molly had been lying to her the entire time and comes to the conclusion that Molly no longer wants to be her friend.
Molly begs Scratch to tell Libby about him since she doesn’t want to lose her as a friend. Scratch finally gives in, but the outcome is less than favorable. In their complicated relationship, Libby and Scratch resent and despise one another.
To make a long tale short, Libby and Scratch are now buddies after both of them succeeded in saving Molly. Season 2 of The Ghost and Molly McGee will most likely continue the story where the first season ended. The friendship between Molly and Scratch will grow to include Libby as well. Throughout their adolescence, the three of them will have many experiences and tales to tell. Is Scratch finally scary enough for other ghosts to think him frightening?
