‘The Land of Happiness’ Starring Jo Jung Suk & Lee Sun Gyun Will Premiere This August
In August, theaters throughout South Korea will host the world premiere of actor Lee Sun Gyun’s posthumous historical fiction film, “The Land of Happiness.”

Under the direction of Choo Chang Min (‘Masquerade’, 2012), ‘The Land of Happiness’ narrates the events of a court case that followed the 1979 assassination of South Korea’s arbitrary president.
Park Tae Joo, portrayed by Lee Sun Gyun, is a soldier in the military who gets entangled in one of the most striking assassinations in South Korean history. In the film, Jo Jung Suk portrays Jung In Hoo, a defense attorney who represents Park Tae Joo in court.
Yoo Jae Myung, Jin Ki Joo, and other actors also star in the movie.
