In many ways, The Order’s second season delivered on our expectations for an emotional rollercoaster ride. Fans of the Netflix original series have been delighted by the show’s unique twist on familiar tropes such as werewolves, secret societies, and magic, combined with a generous serving of horror and supernatural drama.
The series revolves around a magical secret society called the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, a werewolf faction called the Knights of Saint Christopher, and Jack Morton (Jake Manley), a young Belgrave University student stuck in the middle of it all as he keeps discovering that his family is even more connected to the dark arts than he could have ever imagined.
An alluring plot and an ongoing battle between two werewolves to gain Jack as their champion are just some of the strange subplots that make up Season 2 of The Walking Dead. Furthermore, it leaves us in such a thrilling spot that we can’t help but wonder what will happen when the third season comes up. For now, here are the specifics of when and who we may expect to see in The Order season 3.
The Order season 3 Release Date
A release date for season 3 of The Order has yet to be determined, which is unfortunate. This isn’t necessarily a terrible thing, so don’t freak out. We’d be shocked if Netflix didn’t want to continue a show like The Order’s success storey, given that season 2 was only released lately. An extension will almost certainly be granted sooner rather than later.
Fortunately, we can make an educated estimate regarding the “when” since the show’s release schedule has been quite consistent. In March 2019, Season 1 of the programme was released, and Season 2 will be released on June 18, 2020. In light of this, it’s safe to expect that a third season will be released in 2021 at the earliest. Season 3 of The Order of the Blue Rose may be delayed until 2022 if the present state of the world impacts the production schedules.

The Order Season 3 Cast
Werewolf Silverback’s current champion, Jack Morton, is important to the Order’s plot. Knowing this, it’s a safe assumption that Jake Manley will return to the role for season 3, maybe with a new hair colour to start the season. A number of familiar faces from previous seasons are expected to return, including Vera Stone, played by Katharine Isabelle, and her assistant, Nicole Birch, played by Anesha Bailey, as well as the werewolf champions Hamish Duke, Adam DiMarco, Gabrielle Dupres, and the freshly demonic Lilith Bathory, all played by the show’s original cast members, Thomas Elms, Adam DiMarco, and Gabrielle Dupres (Devery Jacobs). Any character who is still alive and able to move around will almost certainly make a reappearance. It’s possible that even people who have died might appear in this programme about evil magic.
While we’re talking about deceased characters, Alyssa Drake’s reappearance has a pretty large question mark over it (Sarah Grey). At least in the season 2 finale, “New World Order, Part 2,” she seemed to be killed by Midnight the werewolf.
Do we have to say goodbye to her forever after this episode? Creator Dennis Heaton was insistent about Alyssa’s death being definitive during The Order’s Comic-Con@Home 2020 panel. In response to an inquiry concerning whether or not Alyssa was actually deceased, he said the following: “She, of course, is. Werewolves were to blame for her death. A knife slashed her neck, severing her vocal cords. Those who have their throats torn out by werewolves are killed instantly.”
When it comes to the matter at hand, we believe that the protests of Heaton are over the top. Creatorly double-speak is probably possible in this scenario. Magical resurrectation is possible even when Alyssa’s werewolf wounds are inflicted. Perhaps we’ll find out whether or not this was the plan all along, if it gets renewed for season 3.
The Order Season 3: What Can We Expect?
The Order’s third season is packed with intriguing storylines. Having slashed open the neck of a woman named Alyssa in the season 2 finale, Midnight, the previous werewolf hide of Jack, is slated to be a major opponent in the next season. It’s likely Gabrielle, Midnight’s new champion, isn’t very thrilled about this development, as well. For Jack, Alyssa’s bleeding corpse and an extraordinarily powerful magical book known as the Vade Maecum Infernal were last seen travelling into the woods with him.
Does he want to unleash its near-infinite power in an attempt to bring about the resurrection? Will Alyssa’s personality be the same after he’s done with him? The potent Foris Factorum incantation she’ll have at her disposal in season 2… what will she do with it?
Season 3 will face a number of challenges, not the least of which being the risk of unleashing the most powerful magic the programme has ever seen and coping with its inevitable consequences. Vera, the great magus, is now in a state of inactivity.
As a result of her time in Hell during Season 2, Lilith has become a demon as well. Their reactions and the obstacles that await them as well as the other characters will be intriguing to see. Hopefully, we’ll be able to find out soon!
