Kim Taehyung (V) of BTS and Jackie Chan (a famous action star) will be the faces of SimInvest, an online platform for investing in stocks and mutual funds, as of March 1, 2024.
Under the leadership of Indonesia’s third-wealthiest family, the Sinar Mas conglomerate owns and operates SimInvest as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sinarmas Sekuritas.
In an official statement to the Indonesian media outlet Antara News, Sinarmas Sekuritas President Commissioner Ferita Lie discussed Taehyung’s influence on the brand and the motivation behind his partnership with Jackie Chan.
V, who has a dedicated following among young people, has been instrumental in the fast expansion of SimInvest during the past two years. “But we can’t stop adding new things, so we picked Jackie Chan as the second BA, alongside V, to represent a more mature audience,” Ferita Lie explained.

Jackie Chan’s presence, according to Ferita, might enhance Taehyung’s already famous figure, and rumors have it that their partnership is still going strong. The two celebrities in the newest commercial film for SimInvest show that friendship knows no bounds: not in age, not in geography, not in ethnicity, not in favorite foods or sports, and not in hobbies or interests.
Later on, Jackie Chan joins Taehyung in his lavish lifestyle in the video. After Taehyung impresses Jackie with his dancing skills, Jackie teaches the idol some kung fu techniques.

The marketing manager of Gush Cloud Korea, an advertising firm that helped Taehyung and SimInvest get together, Saules Moon, opened out about the challenges they had in making the initiative a reality. The caption she used to share the SimInvest video was:

By developing a strong friendship with the seasoned actor, Taehyung demonstrated in the video his amiability and ability to make new acquaintances feel comfortable. Beginning on March 1, 2023, Taehyung was introduced as the brand ambassador for SimInvest; this year marks the start of his second year with the company.
In addition to helping SimInvest expand locally, Taehyung has increased the brand’s profile internationally within the past year. His fan meet event in June of last year was just one of several promotional efforts that he spearheaded to increase SimInvest’s visibility on a worldwide scale.
