Among the males with whom the woman in her twenties is said to have engaged in blackmailing and extorting operations totaling 50 million KRW (about 38,624 USD) from the late Lee Sun-kyun.
Kukmin Ilbo said on December 28 that the woman, who is often referred to as ‘A,’ cheated on several men she met through a dating app. She proceeded to ask for money after her encounters with these men, using absurd reasons like “I’m pregnant and require funds for an abortion” and “I need financial assistance for medical treatment for the safety of our child.”
In addition, she used threats to coerce people into paying child support by saying things like, “You are the father of this child, and you must provide child support.” I will make this information public if you do not give me the money. Under the guise of child support, a few of the guys who trusted her paid her money. At least five guys reportedly lost anywhere from a few thousand to tens of millions of Korean won (around $2,000 to $5,000) in this scam.

Because he didn’t believe the woman’s assertions, one man had a paternity test, which proved he wasn’t the father. The victims are now contemplating taking legal action against the woman, possibly by suing her for fraud. According to legal sources, a 28-year-old woman named ‘A’ was wanted for extortion and blackmail after the Metropolitan Investigation Unit of the Incheon Police Agency filed an arrest warrant for her on December 27.
A subject of an outstanding pre-arrest warrant, ‘A,’ did not show up for her scheduled court hearing at the Incheon District Court the day prior, and she gave no reason for her non-appearance.
It has been revealed that ‘A’ is the one who exposed Lee Sun-kyun’s personal life and threatened him with dire consequences unless he revealed his relationship with Kim, the manager of an entertainment company.
