7 K-Pop Solo Tracks

EXO’s Kai – “Rover”

The subject of the song “Rover” is a person who chooses to live as a “wanderer” instead of conforming to social standards. Its message is incredibly powerful, and its lyrics encourage listeners to embrace this novel freedom. Need we mention that the song gives plenty of room for the type of jaw-dropping performance that Kai is known for? “Rover” declares a completely new existence that is inexplicable yet thrilling. BTS’s Jimin – “Like Crazy”

The lyrics and eerie music of this synthesizer pop song dull the senses. The title track from Jimin’s debut solo album, “Like Crazy,” is absolutely jaw-dropping just because of these two components. The song “Like Crazy” discusses losing a special someone when a relationship ends. This record-breaking song, however, expresses the urge to avoid facing reality instead. The listeners can escape into a dream world that offers the wonder of an alternate reality thanks to the metallic and vintage 1980s sound.

Jisoo of BLACKPINK, “FLOWER”

This magnificent gift of a song incorporates elements of the pop, dance, and trap genres. The only thing someone leaves behind is the perfume of a flower, which is how the song “FLOWER” lyrically expresses overcoming an unhealthful relationship. We are frequently eager to leave negativity behind, but sometimes it takes tremendous guts to do so. The lyrics demonstrate bravery in walking away from poor relationships which is simply astounding. NCT’s Mark – “Golden Hour”

As a proud anthem and a funny inside joke, “Golden Hour” left us speechless. Mark makes jokes about his go-viral online moment, a poor cooking attempt that was broadcast to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey. It’s admirable how self-assured Mark is and how funny he can be. The single’s powerful guitar and drum tones place it in the hip-hop genre. Gordon Ramsey did reply to Mark’s shout-out, so that’s true.

BIGBANG’s Taeyang – “Seed”

This piano ballad is straightforward but lovely; the music is soothing, and the message is one that everyone can identify with. The major theme of “Seed” is accepting the need to go forward while gazing back fondly at the past. The song is about starting over and giving birth to new things but also wanting to remain at someone’s side. For its accurate depiction of human emotions, “Seed” is breathtakingly beautiful, and Taeyang does a fantastic job with this masterpiece.

GOT7’s Jinyoung – “Cotton Candy”

Our mouths dropped when we heard Jinyoung’s outstanding songwriting and sultry voice on “Cotton Candy.” In the song, he expresses his love and gratitude for those who openly support and adore him while also pleading with them to stick by his side. The pop song “Cotton Candy” features piano, bass, and synthesizer sounds while also showcasing Jinyoung’s incredible abilities. Through song, he can so effortlessly convey his emotions! Yuju, “Without U”

We’re smitten by the frank and transparent manner in which this former GFRIEND member exposes her story through song in “Without U” as a songwriter. The song is about attempting to move on from a prior person or relationship and is dedicated to loved ones you can’t live without. Touchingly, Yuju considered her love of music when she crafted the lyrics. It seems sensible that this acoustic single is sentimental because Yuju shares her heart through this incredibly relatable song.
