TXT Is Coming In January With Their Fifth EP. Hybe said on Thursday during a company meeting that Tomorrow X Together would be releasing their fifth extended play (EP) in January 2019. About nine months have passed since the release of its previous EP, “Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,” which opened at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
The album has the longest chart run of any boy band album at 14 weeks. To my knowledge, this will be the first album by a Hybe artist or group to be released in 2019. This past month, TXT brought the group their first nominations ever, at both the MTV Europe Music Awards and the American Music Awards.
The band finished its first-ever international tour, dubbed “Act: Love Sick,” last month. The trip hit 13 different locations across 5 different continents and featured 19 performances. It left for Chile on Thursday to perform in a group concert for a Korean television music chart show.
Seventeen lands atop Oricon chart with 1st Japan EP
On Thursday, Seventeen introduced its debut EP to the Japanese public at a press conference in Tokyo. Wednesday’s release of “Dream,” around 11 months after its special Japanese single “Ainochikara,” is the agency Pledis Entertainment’s choice to open the band’s dome tour in the country.
Almost four times as many copies of the EP were sold as of the limited-edition single, propelling it to the top of Oricon’s daily album rankings. A number of real-time album charts also placed the album at the top spot.

The 13-person group will be putting on shows in the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on November 19 and 20, as well as the Tokyo Dome on November 26 and 27, and finally the Nagoya Dome on December 3 and 4.
For Seventeen and our fans, performing in Japanese domes has been a lifelong goal,” Woozi explained. He stated that the singer/producer has been considering composing a song on dreams appropriate for a dream stage.
New Jeans to roll out the new single in January
On Thursday, the agency Ador revealed that the new phenomenon New Jeans would be releasing a song on January 2. The corporation has hinted that “OMG” will depict the winter of the group in the same way that the debut EP depicted the summer.
As a holiday gift to its fans, the band will give a sneak preview of the single early. The five-piece band made their debut in August with an eponymous album, which broke the record for a K-pop female group’s debut album sales in its first week of release by selling over 310,000 copies.

The EP’s main single, “Hype Boy,” gathered 100 million Spotify streams in just three months. It was followed by another single from the EP, “Attention,” which also did well. Both tracks have spent the past 14 weeks on Billboard’s Global Excl. the US chart.
Kara to perform new song at MAMA Awards
This coming November 29th at the 2022 MAMA Awards in Osaka, Japan, veteran girl group Kara will debut its new song for the first time. With their 15th anniversary album “Move Again,” the five members of the band will reunite for the first time in seven years.

The group will be releasing a Japanese-language version of the album on December 21 for the fans who made them the first K-pop girl group to do a solo show at Tokyo Dome in 2013.
Kara made their debut in Japan in 2010, and they were quickly hailed as a groundbreaking act in the Japanese Korean Wave with the release of their breakthrough single “Mister.”
