BTS Member V Shows Off Portrait Made By 11-Year-Old Artist. The members of BTS, a Korean pop boy band, are huge art fans. Kim Taehyung (stage name V) posted an image of a portrait he had painted by Andres Valencia, who is only 11 years old, on Thursday.

V posted a photo and video of the image alongside a concept photo that may have served as inspiration for the piece on Instagram. V thanked @andresvalenciaart for the use of his work in this post, writing, “Thank you for this lovely artwork!” For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a huge fan of your art.

V has shared Valencia’s art with his 52.7 million Instagram followers before. In September, V uploaded a photo of himself next to a close-up of Valencia’s artwork The Scientist. V enjoys several different interests, and painting is one of them.

The 26-year-old debuted a line of brooches he developed in January as part of BTS’s artist-made goods range. Abstract floral, cloud, and facial figure brooches all sold out quickly. Many well-known figures have also spoken highly of Valencia’s abilities.

Famous stars including Sofia Vergara, Channing Tatum, and Diane Keaton have paid six figures for paintings by Valencia. Mr Chase, a family friend who owns a well-known New York art gallery called Chase Contemporary, first saw Valencia’s potential when he was eight years old.

With the gallery’s help, Valencia’s cubist-inspired works were shown at major art fairs throughout the world, where they quickly caught the attention of critics and collectors. Recently, Valencia has teamed up with the Klitschko Foundation in Ukraine to help those in that country who have been impacted by the Russian invasion.
