What Is The Plot Of Vienna Blood season 3?
Season 3 of Vienna Blood will feature Sigmund Freud student Max Liebermann assisting Austrian police with solving more terrible murder cases. A teenage seamstress is found dead in a high-end Viennese fashion shop in the premiere episode of the new season, titled “Deadly Communion.” After first being baffled by the case, Oscar and Max begin to piece together the pieces thanks to information revealed in a letter delivered to Max.

In the second episode, titled “The God of Shadows,” a war veteran is haunted by what he thinks to be evil spirits. Max must use all of his knowledge as a psychologist to figure out if the soldier did conduct a terrible suicide.
After the unexpected death of a silent cinema star at the premiere of her film, Max and Oskar spend the season finale, Death Is Now a Welcome Guest, on the trail of a bunch of obsessed guys. While trying to solve the crime, Max and Oskar become entangled with the seedy underbelly of Vienna and its far-right political parties.

Is Vienna Blood based on a book?
The writings of British author and clinical psychologist Frank Tallis served as inspiration for Vienna Blood. Seven novels and one short story have been released between 2005 and 2018 as part of the Liebermann Papers series. Initial episodes were based on the first three books in the series.
The opening episode of Season 3 is titled “Deadly Communion,” which is also the name of Tallis’s fifth novel in the series on which the show is based.
