VLAST CEO Responds To PLAVE Fan Behavior, Stresses Importance Of Privacy
VLAST CEO Lee Seong Gu addressed media questions on the virtual idol group PLAVE at a press conference in Seoul on the afternoon of April 22 KST.
“I believe it should be approached similarly to traditional idol management,” said PLAVE CEO Lee Seong Gu, emphasizing the significance of risk management. “It’s essential to be cautious about personal matters and to use appropriate language and behavior, much like with real-life idols.”
CEO Lee Seong Gu voiced his concerns, saying, “Initially, we anticipated interactions only through broadcasts, without direct encounters with fans. However, we’ve observed instances where fans have attempted to visit artists’ homes or the company.”
Lee emphasized that fans should not engage in such behavior, citing the necessity for more stringent security measures, and said, “We are enhancing security protocols, and we kindly request fans to respect the privacy of our artists, just as they cherish our virtual idols.”
With five members, PLAVE is becoming more and more popular in the entertainment sector. A major turning point in the group’s career was reached when they held their first fan concert in March, following their success on music shows.
