According to Wikipedia, the Warrior Nun is based on Ben Dun’s comic book series and Warrior Nun Areala, a comic book character. Simon Barry, who directed and produced Game of Thrones, is behind Warrior Nun. Netflix’s Warrior Nun was a godsend when it debuted.
Ava Silva, a 19-year-old whose life is flipped upside down, is the focus of the story. In the mortuary, she discovers an artefact lodged in her back and a new set of abilities. Soon after, she joins an ancient order of warrior nuns tasked with protecting Earth from the forces of evil.

Netflix often takes at least 30 days to decide if a show will be renewed or cancelled. It was, however, Netflix’s interest in the show’s fanbase that led to the show’s renewal.
“Warrior Nun” was the third most popular Netflix TV show in its first 30 days. In Brazil, the Netherlands, and New Zealand, the song “Warrior Nun” topped the charts. It ranked sixth in the United States and fourth in the UK. In the United States, ‘Warrior Nun Season 2’ was second only to ‘Unsolved Mysteries,’ when it peaked.

Mother Superion is played by Sylvia De Fanti, while Ava Silva is played by Alba Baptista, Toya Turner as Sister Mary, Thekla Reuten as Jillian Salvius and Lorena Andrea as Lilith. Tristan Ulloa plays Father Vincent and Alba Baptista as Ava Silva.
Additional cast members were added to the show in October 2021. Jack Mullarkey portrays Miguel, Meena Rayann portrays Yasmine, and Richard Clothier portrays the Cardinal.
Alba Baptista as Ava Silva, the series’ star, is sadly absent from Season 2. As the show’s pilot actress, it’s safe to presume that a large number of the show’s other known faces will return for season two.
He made a big impression in season one before JC and Ava parted ways, so don’t be surprised to see him pop up again.
Starring William Miller As Adriel
It is expected that William Miller would reprise his role as Adriel, the fictional angel that sparked the whole thing. Ignoring him after the season one finale would be a mistake, as he was revealed as the main villain.
Do not exclude the possibility of a celestial resurrection or even flashbacks bringing back previously deceased characters.
Warrior Nun Season 2 What’s The Plot?
This is the story of a young woman who wakes up in the morgue after being offered a second chance to live. New challenges await her in both heaven and hell as she takes on a new heavenly task.
In the wake of a huge storyline twist, season one finished with an open ending. Ava chose to dispose of the remnants of the fallen angel Adriel, who had given up his halo in order to save her. At Adriel’s tomb, Ava was shocked to see that he was still breathing! In order to avoid capture, Adriel stole a halo and used it as a disguise.
For the sake of removing the halo and recruiting the Knights Templar, he kept up the angel act. Father Vincent was revealed to be working for Adriel and fooling Ava the entire time. How Ava and her sisters respond to the concept that their order was founded on lies is supposed to be the primary focus for the series. After this, they must figure out a way to stop Adriel and his evil plans.
Season 1’s major mysteries, such as what happened to JC and where Michael went, remain unanswered. There will be further explanations in Season 2. There’s no need to stress, because the showrunners have thought of everything.
Expectations For Warrior Nun Season 2-
Season one of Warrior Nun ended on a high note, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating what’s next. We learned that Adriel’s objective in forming an order to fight against Heaven had nothing to do with the actual mission. A touch from him reveals his true identity to Ava.
They mistook him for an angel when he slew a Tarask creature that pursued him out of the demonic portal. First Warrior Nun Adriel had hid his halo in her, and by creating his Order, he had won Heaven’s protection from the devil.
Adrial wants to retake the Order’s halo after escaping his tomb and carries out his nefarious plans. After Shotgun Mary’s efforts, Adrial’s possessed warriors vanquished Shotgun Mary, leaving Ava and the other sisters to face Adrial and his Wraith Demon army.
When Ava and the Order arrive at Adriel, they’ll be bringing the battle to him. It’s possible that the Vatican will be aided by divine forces after Satan was revealed to the public. Ava’s skills as the Warrior Nun continue to improve, despite her disadvantage in numbers.
Adriel’s demonic powers are no match for Ava’s if given enough time. One thing is for sure: the existence of the Order of the Cruciform Sword is founded on a lie. Since the sisters are responsible for giving it a new meaning, Ava is on the case. Also, Father Vincent’s betrayal resulted in the death of Sister Shannon. So, let’s just say that if the girls pursue vengeance against their former instructor, they’re probably making a fatal mistake.
For the first 30 days on Netflix, the series was the third most popular TV show in the world (July 6th to August 6th, 2020). Cursed came in #1, followed by Dark Desire. The show also topped the charts in July 2020, making it the most watched TV show in the world. The show came in sixth in the US and fourth in the UK on both continents.
Unsolved Mysteries took the top spot for the first weekend the series was available in the United States.
