WayV Continues to Release Dark: For their fourth mini album, titled “Phantom,” WayV once again teased their audience with a series of dark and foreboding concept photos. The members of WayV look mysteriously into the camera in the teaser photos as if they know something the viewers don’t.

The Chinese boy band WayV is managed by SM Entertainment’s Label V, making them the fourth sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang are the seven individuals who make up the group.
On January 17, 2019, they made their debut with the release of The Vision, an EP available exclusively via digital streaming services. The group’s 2021 song “Kick Back” won Best Dance Performance (Chinese) at the Asian Pop Music Awards and Favorite Asian Artist at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards, among other honors from national and international award shows.
Some of the SM Entertainment cast have previous experience in the business before signing with the label. While in Bangkok for an SM Global audition in 2013, Ten became the label’s first member. Lucas was discovered at a Hong Kong SM Global Auditions event in July 2015. Kun was found in Beijing, China, while Winwin was found by an SM casting manager on the streets of his school and later auditioned for the company.
YangYang was successful at a Taiwanese audition in February 2016. According to specific sources. Henry was discovered on the streets in 2017, while Xiaojun was cast the following year.
