WayV Postponed Their Debut: LABEL V informed fans on November 30 that the release of WayV’s fourth mini album would be delayed indefinitely.
WayV Statement:
“Hello, this is LABEL V.
We are sorry to inform you that the 4th Mini Album ‘Phantom‘ which was planned to be released on December 9 has been delayed.
And the releases of the various contents following the ‘Teaser Image 2’ which was scheduled to be released today at 10PM KST have also been delayed.
We would like to ask for your understanding and especially from the fans who have been waiting for WayV’s 4th Mini Album ‘Phantom’, and will make a separate announcement on the new release date.”

It follows the November 30 death of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin. The late leader’s funeral is expected to be followed by a time of sorrow in China.

SM Entertainment’s Chinese sub-label, Label V, manages the Chinese boy band WayV, which is also the fourth sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang are the seven members of the group.
They first appeared on the scene on January 17th, 2019, with the release of their digital EP The Vision. The group’s 2021 song “Kick Back” won Best Dance Performance (Chinese) at the Asian Pop Music Awards and Favorite Asian Artist at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards, among other honours from national and international award shows.
