Dominique Armani Jones, better known as Lil Baby, was born on December 3rd, 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Daddy left when Lil Baby was two, so his mother reared him on her alone. Two sisters grew up in the household and he left Booker T. Washington High School in his first year.
“Drip Too Hard” (2020) has been nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance by Lil Baby, as well as “The Bigger Picture,” which has been nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song (2021). 2020 saw him nominated for Song of Summer and Video for Good at the MTV Video Music Awards, while in 2021, he won nine ASCAP awards, including Songwriter of the Year.
