Wednesday Season 2 Cast
It’s inconceivable that Wednesday and her sidekick Thing wouldn’t return for season two, so here’s hoping that Ortega (and Thing’s sidekick Victor Dorobant) are interested in coming back. There’s a good chance her almost-lover, Xavier Thorpe, played by Percy Hynes White, will be there too.
He was rejected but not forgotten, and now that Tyler is out of the picture, he may actually have a chance. Is he, though? Wednesday’s ex-boyfriend/villain of the piece was arrested when we last saw him, but his guttural growl at the end suggests he might try to break out.
We would expect Hunter Doohan to once again don the Hyde costume for the upcoming second season if this is the case.

Oily Ms Thornhill, played by Christina Ricci, may return as she was unsuccessful in her goals (more on that below). Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie) may have bitten the big one, but her demise was clouded by ambiguity.
Maybe she’ll come back; after all, resurrections occur in this universe, and her story arc did feel abruptly cut off. Christie has also been cast in the second season of The Sandman, which means there may be scheduling difficulties.

Let’s hope this isn’t the case because Christie’s performances as Lucifer and Weems are highly addicting and the show needs both of them. When it came to poor Dr Kinbott, things were clear-cut. Due to the severity of the injuries she sustained at the hands of Hyde, Riki Lindhome’s character is not expected to return for the next second season.
Wednesday Season 2 Plot
There were many loose ends that were left fluttering in the wind, as we had mentioned. Despite her fondness for misery, Wednesday did not seem to enjoy the anguish she experienced when she learned that her boyfriend was the monster terrorising Nevermore.
Teacher favourite Ms Thornhill turned out to be a nasty northerner with a grudge towards the social outcasts, doubling down on the double dose of betrayal he had already received. We doubt Tyler will remain her ‘pet’ under her supervision, but he has probably escaped, and he will almost certainly reappear in Wednesday’s life at some point.
Still, whether as a friend, a lover, or an enemy is up for debate. The sinister Morning Songs, led by Bianca’s alluring mother, were mentioned several times during the series. The mother pressured Bianca into coming along so that they could have more of an impact on their argument.

They have the potential to become the show’s primary antagonist in Season 2. Keep an eye out. The identity of the text’s mysterious author needs to be established. Wednesday receives a cryptic, threatening text message alongside creepy photos of herself shortly after Xavier gives her a brand new phone as a gift.
It’s unclear who sent it, but it poses precisely the sort of threat that would set Wednesday’s adrenaline racing. It’s also the sort of thing that could get the gears turning on a season two plot.
