An excellent finale aired for JTBC’s “Welcome to Samdalri”! The season finale of the romantic drama reached record highs in viewership on January 21. The last episode of “Welcome to Samdalri” had an average nationwide rating of 12.3 percent, up nearly 2 percent from the previous night, according to Nielsen Korea.
At the same time, the most-watched program of any kind to run on Sunday, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” continued its trend with a new record-breaking 21.4 percent for its most recent episode—breaking above the 20 percent threshold.
The first half of “My Happy Ending” on TV Chosun also ended at a record high. The most recent episode of the drama set a new series high with an average national rating of 3.0 percent.

The pilot episode of tvN’s new drama “Captivating the King,” which shares airtime with the show, launched with a national average rating of 4.0 percent. With an average nationwide rating of 10.1%, KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” is back in the double digits.
