Despite the fact that When Calls the Heart season 8 was far lengthier than the previous seasons, it still seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. Hearties are clamoring for more now that the season finale has come and gone.
They want more of Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee’s (Kavan Smith) adorable antics, more of Elizabeth’s (Erin Krakow) wistful glances, more of Nathan (Kevin McGarry) and Lucas’ (Chris McNally) unwavering devotion to the woman they love, more of everything. The question at hand is whether or not When Calls the Heart will return for a ninth season.
It’s a good thing that Hallmark isn’t making us wait to find out. “Who thought even an extra-long season would fly by so quickly,” Erin Krakow said as the season 8 finale aired, thrilling Hearties across the world. “Don’t worry, When Calls the Heart will return next year for an all-new season,” she said, pleasing Hearties around the world.
The popular television series When Calls the Heart has been renewed for a ninth season! While we wait for more information on what we can expect in Hope Valley, here’s what we do know about a possible ninth season, including when we can expect to see Elizabeth and Lucas’ romance on the big screen for the first time.
When Calls The Heart Season 9 Cast-
Erin has expressed her desire to return to Hope Valley on a more regular basis. A recent interview with Good Housekeeping reveals that “there would be an enormous amount to be excited about,” she says. Additionally, Little Jack should develop his personality, and she and her new boyfriend should go on adventures together. “I can’t wait to get started on this journey of romance. This is going to be fun to watch now that Elizabeth has settled on the man of her dreams “She kept going.
When Calls The Heart Season 9 Released-
On Sunday, March 6th at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, Hallmark Channel will air a new episode of When Calls the Heart. In comparison to the previous year’s late February release in 2021, this year’s season 8 will arrive a little later, but with 12 all-new episodes, the wait will be well worth it!
Erin appears to be optimistic that the show will continue for future seasons—yes, there will be more. In an interview with Good Housekeeping, Elizabeth affirmed that both of her suitors will remain on the show no matter which one she chooses
. “Neither of the men is going to have to leave town if he doesn’t get the girl. As long as we have future seasons, we aim to retain both Kevin McGarry [playing Nathan] and Chris McNally [playing Lucas] on the programme.”
When Calls The Heart Season 9 Plot-
Elizabeth and Lucas’ bond will become increasingly prominent as they engage into a formal courtship period. Watchers can expect some sweet dates, as well as some stress as the couple tries to find out how to go with their relationship.
While Cheat Sheet speculates that a wedding is imminent, this is just that: speculation. It’s unclear how growing Jack Jr. (Lincoln and Gunnar Taylor) will respond to his mother having a long-term lover or husband.
Elizabeth selecting Lucas leaves Nathan a free agent, and with Faith (Brooks) now partnerless thanks to a break-up with Carson, the show might choose to test pairing this twosome together, which was strongly hinted at in the Season 8 finale. If Carson does return, that might make things quite emotionally sticky for Faith, and result in another love triangle — after all, he had planned to propose to her.
As the show keeps up with its many recurring players and their entanglements, assume you’ll see more of Lee (Smith) and Rosemary’s (Hutton) relationship as she works to restart the town newspaper, as well as more of Jesse (Aren Buchholz) and Clara’s (Eva Bourne) struggle with their financial situation.
Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) and Fiona (Kayla Wallace) appear to be getting closer together too. Expect complications, cross-cast relationships, and oodles of romantic complications, as is the “When Calls The Heart” way.
