When it comes to Korean pop music, BLACKPINK is among the most popular girl groups in the globe. Following in the footsteps of the Bangtan Boys, this female-only band has an enormous fan base. Reputable agencies typically oversee musical groups.
Although HYBE is in charge of BTS, YG Entertainment is in charge of BLACKPINK. It is commonly believed that every member of BTS is a native South Korean, but that is not the case for BLACKPINK. Rose is from Auckland in New Zealand, Lisa is from Thailand, and Jisoo and Jennie are said to be from Korea. Among the members of the group, Jisoo debuted solo last.
Here is the numbering of BLACKPINK member according to their popularity:
Lisa
The ranking for most successful solo music is headed by Lisa, the group’s main dancer and lead rapper. Just a few months after Rosé’s solo album came out in September 2021, Lisa dropped her own first single album. “Lalisa” is her given name, and she chose to honor it.
With 73.6 million views in its first 24 hours of availability, the music video for “Lalisa” broke the Guinness World Record for most views in a single artist’s YouTube music video in a single day.

Rosé
Rosé’s solo album of singles, was released in March 2021. Korean K-pop fans were understandably worried that the album’s two fully English tracks wouldn’t do well.
The album by Rosé became an instant classic upon its debut, which was to be expected given that she is the lead singer of one of the most famous girl groups in the world. It broke the record for most pre-orders ever by a Korean female singer, with 400,000, according to Hello K-pop.
Adding to the 41.6 million views in 24 hours, her song “On the Ground” now has more than 315 million views on YouTube. According to Forbes, the song became the highest-charting single by a solo K-pop idol at the time, spending seven weeks at the top of the Billboard Global 200.

Jennie
With 2018’s Solo, Jennie became the first member of the foursome to release a solo album, marking two years after the girl group’s debut. The music video for her single “Solo” reached 16 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours after it was uploaded. According to British media, Jennie became the first Korean female soloist to ever reach the top 10 on the iTunes list in the US with that very music video, which has since amassed over 900 million views.
It was also reported in the same article that the song by the 27-year-old Chanel ambassador was the number one hit in more than 40 nations. Plus, the song was number one on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart for 26 weeks.

Jisoo
Since Jisoo’s solo album didn’t drop until March 31st, making her the last member of the foursome to do so, she naturally takes the bottom spot. Plus, her account was only validated on March 30th, thus there may not be any Spotify listeners on her at the moment.
Regardless, with over a million pre-orders for the March 31st album Me, fans were obviously very excited for Jisoo’s solo debut. The news outlet WWD reports that with over a million pre-orders, she has become the first female K-pop soloist in history.
