The upcoming drama “Grabbed by the Collar” has Yeon Woo Jin talking about it! An investigative journalist and a top detective work together to solve a string of murder cases in the suspenseful drama “Grabbed by the Collar,” which is based on a famous web novel.
Kim Tae Heon, played by Yeon Woo Jin, is a violent crimes unit detective known for his stubbornness. A puzzling murder case brings Kim Tae Heon back together with his ex-girlfriend, Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul), and he goes through a roller coaster of emotions as a result.
What captivated Yeon Woo Jin when he initially laid eyes on the writing for “Grabbed by the Collar” was the intricate web of relationships between the many characters, he reflected.
In an interview, Yeon Woo Jin discussed his casting decision for “Grabbed by the Collar,” saying, “The focus of the story seemed to be on densely portraying the narratives and emotions of the characters as they unravel the case.” And I was challenged by that.

Yeon Woo Jin said, “Unlike the typical tough and rugged image associated with detectives, Kim Tae Heon has a very dapper and refined image.” This was his way of explaining how he prepared for the role of Kim Tae Heon.
