Yona of the Dawn (Akatsuki no Yona), a popular fantasy manga by Mizuho Kusanagi, is being adapted into a musical.
The musical will premiere in July 2024 at Tokyo’s Theater H and is likely to impress viewers.
15th Anniversary of Yona of the Dawn
Yona of the Dawn was first serialized in Hakusensha’s Hanato Yume magazine in 2009. This year marks the 15th anniversary of its serialization.
With 43 volumes published and over 14 million copies in print, the series stays popular with fans worldwide.
Cast Announcement
Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi, famous for directing My Hero Academia productions, will direct, with a story by Aoto Tani.
Masato Kamata composes the music, while Shinji Rachi choreographs the amazing performances.
