Uzu Rocks, Song Ji Hyo’s former agency, has lost the lawsuit she filed against them. In early April of this year, Song Ji Hyo sued Uzu Rocks for unpaid earnings after ending her company contract. The early termination of Song Ji Hyo’s contract was Uzu Rocks’ fault, and they apologized and agreed to release her from the contract.
The Seoul Central District Court sided with Song Ji Hyo on November 22, finding that Uzu Rocks owed her $746,048 in unpaid earnings plus additional sums for delayed interest and more, totaling 984 million won.
The lawsuit against Song Ji Hyo’s former agency has been officially won since Uzu Rocks did not appeal the decision for two weeks after receiving it on November 28.

A spokesperson for Uzu Rocks announced on December 13 that, “We plan to pay [Song Ji Hyo what she is owed].” The agency maintained that they would pay the woman what she was owed when asked why they hadn’t appealed the court’s decision. All of us are to blame.
