The shocking bond between BLACKPINK member Lisa and GRAMMY-winning South African singer-songwriter Tyla has stunned internet users. Many idols have danced to Tyla’s TikTok single “Water,” which catapulted her to prominence. She has also been known to profess her undying devotion to K-Pop stars, most notably Hanni of NewJeans.
Even still, the sight of one of the most adored idols with Tyla continued to shock netizens. A video of the South African soloist in a recording studio with BLACKPINK’s Lisa went viral the moment it was posted.
Within a short amount of time, the video has amassed 1.5 million views on TikTok, 1.8 million views on X (previously Twitter), and 4 million views on Instagram.

The internet was taken aback. Enthusiastic followers were asking in the comments if that was actually Lisa! Next week on Friday, you can listen to Tyla’s self-titled debut album. As a result, she played Lisa an early version of her new song “A.R.T.” and previewed more tracks from her album.
Thus, Lisa’s cute response to the quick listening was shown in the film. To her dismay, the music abruptly stopped playing just as she was getting into it!
Tyla and Lisa are shown in a selfie on Tyla’s Instagram, which serves as the preview image for the video’s Reel version. It looked like the two were quite close.

On top of that, Tyla posted a video to her Instagram Stories that was essentially the same image. In the cute video, the two suppressed giggles as they smiled for the camera. In a caption, Tyla hinted at the possibility of a future collaboration and revealed that she played Lisa many new tracks.
Lisa went so far as to comment on Tyla’s Instagram Reel, offering her support. Lisa added, “Can’t wait,” accompanied by a flaming heart emoji, amid the enthusiastic fans
