Joining forces with fellow BTS member Jungkook, “Standing Next to You” is a solo effort that has broken several records. The track, which is part of his solo album “GOLDEN,” has been featured on the famous US Billboard Hot 100 chart for 18 weeks running, and it has now reached the 85th rank.
“Standing Next to You” first debuted on the Hot 100 at number five on November 18, 2023, and it has remained there ever since, marking a new achievement for Jungkook’s solo work.
Here you can check out the below tweet about Jungkook has been 2nd longest person to chart on US Billboard 100:

While his collaboration with American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth on “Left and Right” held strong for 17 weeks, his solo effort “Standing Next to You” surpasses that time. His solo single “Seven feat. Latto” will be right behind, having spent fifteen weeks in the charts following its July 2018 release.
While Psy’s “Gangnam Style” remained at number one for 31 weeks, “Standing Next to You” has surpassed that feat and is the longest-running Hot 100 single by a Korean artist in the last decade.
In addition, ‘Standing Next to You’ and the rest of Jungkook’s album ‘GOLDEN’ are still making waves; the album peaked at number 90 on the Billboard 200, Billboard’s primary album chart.
This feat establishes a new record for the longest-running chart album by a Korean solo artist, as the album has now been on the list for 18 straight weeks. For more updates, you can join us on our Twitter account.
