RIIZE Wraps Up Tokyo Fan Concert With Flying Colors, Gears Up For Japan Tour
The ‘2024 RIIZE FAN-CON ‘RIIZING DAY’ in TOKYO’ happened on May 11-12 at the National Yoyogi Stadium’s First Gymnasium in Tokyo. It was RIIZE’s first solo show outside their home country, and it ended with lots of cheers and love from the fans there.
This fan concert had more than 500,000 people sign up beforehand, and all the seats sold out really fast. They even had to open up some more seats, even though they didn’t have the best view. Across the two days, 24,000 fans came to watch, showing how much everyone loves RIIZE and how popular they’re becoming.
Before the show on the 12th, RIIZE had a press conference that got a lot of attention from the local news. During the fan concert, RIIZE entertained the crowd with different kinds of performances, from heartfelt tunes like the Japanese version of ‘Love 119’ and ‘Memories’, to upbeat tracks like ‘Get A Guitar’ and ‘Siren’.
They also brought the energy with songs like ‘Talk Saxy’ and ‘Impossible’, along with fan favorites like the theme song ‘HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!’ and the track ‘Joy’, which got people excited even before its official release.
Besides the music, the event included fun talks and games that let each member show off their unique personality, and the audience loved every moment of it.
RIIZE said after their performance, “Thank you for welcoming us warmly. It was our first time holding a solo performance in such a large venue, and we were moved to see fans even in the farthest seats holding placards with our names. It was overwhelming to realize how many people love us.”
Also, they stated, “Starting in July, we will be conducting a fan concert hall tour in Japan. Like our team name, we will continue to grow and strive to realize our dreams in any situation. We hope you continue to support us as we actively pursue our activities.”
RIIZE will carry on their fan concert tour with a performance on May 15th at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City, Mexico.
