On March 27 KST, sources within the music industry revealed that aespa is preparing for a highly anticipated return in May.
After releasing their fourth mini-album, “Drama,” in November 2023, the group has been hard at work preparing for the release of their next album, which is expected to be around six months away. Notably, a cover version of “Regret of the Times” by Seo Taiji and Boys was also published by them on January 15.
Although they were mum on specifics, SM Entertainment did affirm a return in the second quarter, suggesting they are open to rescheduling. As a sign of their dedication to their supporters, aespa is reportedly working hard to have the comeback happen in May instead of June.
