PinkPantheress has significantly contributed to the upcoming Barbie film’s soundtrack, titled “Barbie: The Album.” The highly-anticipated summer movie, helmed by Greta Gerwig, features PinkPantheress lending her vocals to the infectious single “Angel.”
Known for her bubblegum pop sound, PinkPantheress not only provided her mesmerizing voice but also co-produced the track alongside BloodPop and Count Baldor.
Count Baldor and BloodPop are highly accomplished producers, having worked on notable songs such as Karol G and Aldo Ranks’ “WATATI” and Dua Lipa’s hit single, “Dance The Night.” Their collaboration with PinkPantheress resulted in a catchy and upbeat bubblegum pop track that is sure to captivate listeners.
The Barbie film soundtrack boasts an impressive lineup of artists in addition to PinkPantheress. Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice, Lizzo, Charli XCX, Ava Max, Dominic Fike, Khalid, The Kid LAROI, Tame Impala, HAIM, GAYLE, and FIFTY-FIFTY with Kaliii have all contributed their talents to the album.
Greta Gerwig, the director of the film, also serves as an executive producer for the soundtrack. Mark Ronson, George Drakoulias, and Brandon Davis join her as executive producers, while Kevin Weaver takes on the role of producer and overseer. Brandon Creed and Joseph Khoury are credited as co-producers.
