After her girl group BLACKPINK was honoured by King Charles III, K-pop diva Rosé has gained a lot of attention from fans. The members of BORN PINK were recognized for their efforts in raising public consciousness about climate change. Honorary Members of the Order of the British Empire were also bestowed upon Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa, the other members of BLACKPINK.
However, Member Rosé was given a special membership since she is a dual citizen of New Zealand and the United Kingdom. New Zealand is one of only 14 countries that recognizes the British queen as its head of state. BLINKS, fans of BLACKPINK, flocked to social media as news of the group’s recent triumph spread online to celebrate Rosé’s moment. In fact, one supporter claimed to be “so proud” of their favourite star.
After Learning of MBE Fans have begun Referring to Rosé as “Royal Highness”
K-pop sensation BLACKPINK served as official spokesperson for the COP26 summit’s climate change efforts two years ago in Glasgow, Scotland. Now, more recently on November 22, BLACKPINK was observed commemorating their first-ever public appearance as a group at the Buckingham Palace, after a successful globe tour that wrapped on September 17.
Roseanne Park MBE is classed as ‘substantive’ as she is a national of a British realm. This makes her eligible to the following:
– have the privilege to get married (and her children) in St. Paul’s Cathedral (One of the royal wedding places)
– eligible to apply for the family… pic.twitter.com/Ba6nZ3734I

However, the Kiwi member of the group found herself in the spotlight due to the privileges afforded to her by her dual citizenship, despite the broad excitement among BLINKs about the group’s presence. The BLACKPINK leader has not only obtained an actual Member of the Order of the British Empire but also numerous other advantages that she can enjoy with this award.
Since she is a citizen of the commonwealth, Rosé can get married in a royal location in the United Kingdom, such as St. Paul’s Cathedral, which has thrilled her many supporters. The members of BLINKs have expressed their delight at the fact that the On The Ground singer is also qualified to receive the family court of arms.

Singer Roseanne Park is a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, earning her the nickname “Roseanne Park MBE” among fans. The How You Like That vocalists are the first and only non-British performers to ever receive an MBE. The female group became only the third recipient of the MBEs in the category of “Musical Artist Honorary Award,” joining the legendary band The Beatles and the Easy On Me singer Adele.
