Both BTS and BLACKPINK have been acknowledged with nominations for this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards! The candidates for the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards were announced on the network’s official website on January 31 (local time), when the announcement was made.
BTS and BLACKPINK have been nominated for Favorite Music Group, with 5 Seconds of Summer, Black Eyed Peas, Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic, Panic! at the Disco, and Paramore. BLACKPINK has also been nominated for Favorite Global Music Star (Asia), with Bad Bunny (for Latin America), Harry Styles (for the United Kingdom), Rosala (for Europe), Taylor Swift (for the United States of America), Tones and I (for Australia), and Wizkid (for Africa) (Africa).
At the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, BTS won the award for Favorite Music Group for the third year in a row, which enabled them to break their own Guinness World Record for “the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards won by a music group.”

BTS
The Bangtan Boys, popularly known as BTS (Korean: RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan; lit. “Bulletproof Boy Scouts”), are a South Korean boy band founded in 2010. The members of the group—Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—co-write and co-produced most of their songs.
Their lyricism has focused on topics such as mental health, the difficulties of school-age youth and coming of age, loss, the path to self-love, individualism, and the effects of fame and recognition.
