A unique event was planned to celebrate the release of Kim Taehyung’s digital single “FRI(END)S.” This was a way for V from BTS to show his fans how much he loves them.
A private event called “FRI(END)S PARTY” was held by BigHit Music for ARMY (BTS fans), just as Taehyung had planned before joining the military. The new song was showcased at this one-day event, which offered fans a varied range of sights and activities to enjoy.
Released at the start of spring, “FRI(END)S” was accompanied by the “FRI(END)S PARTY” on the 16th in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, which perfectly captured the spirit of spring.
Across its three stories, the “FRI(END)S PARTY” provided a variety of entertainment that was all related to the theme and message of the film. Several things at the event were pink, and fans were asked to dress in pink as well, to match the theme.
Guests were greeted with a unique present on the ground level. A photo postcard with Taehyung’s captivating images, a diffuser labeled “FRI(END)S,” and a handwritten message from Taehyung himself were all contained within the pink box.
Within the letter, Taehyung cleverly asked, “Let’s put the ‘end’ in friends,” referencing the words of “FRI(END)S,” and also asked, “ARMY, what are we to each other?”

The diffuser, called “V FRI(END)S FRAGRANCE,” was made exclusively for this fan event by Taehyung and is hence one-of-a-kind in aroma. You could listen to Taehyung’s voice messages and write him letters directly in the phone booth on the second floor. In the area designated as “VOICE CALL FROM V,” three payphones were set up. Insightful instructions allowed fans to listen to three messages left by Taehyung.

Taehyung asked his followers, “How are you doing, ARMY?,” in his voice messages. Just in case you need a reminder, I’ve left a message ahead of time. Today, I pray that we all enjoy ourselves immensely. Goodbye, and I’ll be right back. “Knock, ARMYs, how are you doing?” May 2024 be a pleasant year for all. When we’re both well, let’s meet again and make even more memories.
The “FRI(END)S” music video’s set was replicated in the “PHOTO ZONE” on the second level. Fans were able to capture unforgettable moments in this photo zone by posing with a variety of props as if they were a part of the music video.
