The third season of Demon Slayer has started, and it’s as good as ever. In April 2023, the hit anime came back with a new story based on the Swordsmith Village arc of the original manga.
The story starts after the events of the Mugen Train movie and the Entertainment District arc, which made Demon Slayer famous all over the world. So far, the story has lived up to the hype.
Already, we’ve seen some fantastic fight scenes, two scary Kizuki, and some interesting new characters. But if you need to get caught up, here is everything you need to know about season three of Demon Slayer.
When Will Season 3 of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba” Come Out?
On April 9, 2023, Crunchyroll began to show the third season of Demon Slayer. It’s Already out there! The third season of Demon Slayer started streaming on Crunchyroll on April 9, 2023.
This is the same as how the show was released in Japan, so that new episodes will be out every Sunday. The Swordsmith Village storyline started with an hour-long special instead of a 20-minute episode. This special had an epic opening.
The first episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season three was also shown early in February and March as part of a world “theatrical screening event” that included episodes 10 and 11 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season two. This was similar to what happened with Mugen Train.
The first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc was an hour long. The release of the first episode has set the tone for the rest of the season, and a lot of people are curious about the season’s release schedule and how many episodes will be in season 3.

What Will Happen in Season 3 of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba”?
In season three of Demon Slayer, the focus will be on the original manga’s ninth arc, the Swordsmith Village story. It’s important to note that the Demon Slayer book ended in 2020.
This gives anime fans a unique chance to find out (roughly) what the future holds for Tanjiro and the rest of the group. So, beware of secrets! The Swordsmith Village arc starts right after the Entertainment District arc, which finishes with Tanjiro and Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui beating the demon siblings Gyutaro and Daki.
The only thing that was lost for good in this epic fight was Tanjiro’s sword which could kill demons. In the third season of Demon Slayer, Tanjiro will go to the Swordsmith Village to get his blade fixed.
This was proven when the first episode of Season 3 was shown in theaters early in March. With an extra-long first show, a few lucky fans got a sneak peek at what the season has in store. They learned that Tanjiro had been in a coma for two months.
Once Tanjiro wakes up, he finds that his sword is still broken and that Master Haganezuka, who made it for him in the first season, won’t fix it. He has to go to the Swordsmith Village because of this. Fans are going crazy over Demon Slayer and eagerly wait for the release of its every episode:

He meets the town chief there, who tells him that Haganezuka has gone missing. He also meets Genyu Shinazugawa, the angry younger brother of Wind Hashira, and Love Hashira Kanroji, another important character.
Kanroji tells Tanjiro that he should look into the rumor that a powerful weapon is hidden nearby. This, of course, starts a treasure hunt. The actor who played Rengoku, Satoshi Hino, was able to figure out what made Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba popular around the world.
