Many K-pop acts lit up the stage at the recently concluded MLB Seoul Series at Gocheok Sky Dome, adding to the festive atmosphere. The five-member female group (G)I-DLE was one of them; their thrilling performance opened Game 2 of the Seoul Series.

Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua—the five female artists—put on a spectacular performance, and MLB posted Instagram photos showing parts of it.

A dance group in pinstripe jerseys reminiscent of the Yankees cheered on the girls as they sported white uniforms bearing their group’s name. Throughout their performance, the entire stadium was enthralled by their every move, and as they finished, the audience let out raucous cheers.

Padres win Game 2 of the Seoul Series by a score of 15-11 over Dodgers. Both teams in Game 2 of the Seoul Series scored runs at will, putting the other team’s pitchers through their paces.

The newly acquired star of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, took a heavy beating in his one inning of work. Yamamoto walked two batters and gave up five runs on four hits in 43 pitches. The Padres took a 5-0 lead after this.

As the game entered the fourth inning, the score was 9-6, with four runs scored by each team. With three runs each in the following three innings, the score reached 12–9. The momentum swung to the Dodgers in the bottom of the eighth as they scored twice more, pulling within a run (12-11).

But the game was decided when Manny Machado hit a three-run home run off JP Feyereisen in the top of the ninth inning, bringing the score to 15-11. Suarez, the Padres’ closer, denied the Dodgers any chance of a comeback by turning down their hits.

Mookie Betts, who bats in the leadoff spot, had a fantastic day. He scored two runs, walked once, and drove in six RBIs. To bring the Padres even in the series, Xander Bogaerts had two RBIs, Fernando Tatis Jr. had one, Jake Cronenworth had four, and Manny Machado had three. Before their home openers on March 28, both teams will travel home for one final spring training matchup.
