Last year on December 31st, BTS member J-Hope took to the online fan forum Weverse to pen a lengthy statement. “There isn’t much of 2023 left,” he began. Greetings to all, I have arrived. His mind went back a year. “I focused on various activities before enlisting in the military,” according to him, “I attended award ceremonies alone, created collaborative music, and lived intensely before enlisting.”
His time in the service is coming to an end. October 17th is when he is anticipated to be discharged. According to J-Hope, “As a soldier, I’ve already been running for 9 months, preparing to greet the year of my discharge.”
In his own words, he was excited to reveal an improved version of himself to you once more. Along with worry and a feeling of togetherness, I miss the members and you all. He updated the group on his military duty as well. “Before going to sleep, I have a lot of thoughts and encounter various dreams,” he commented. “Fulfilling my duty to national defense diligently will make the start of 2024 even more powerful.”
J-Hope ended by saying, “2023 was undoubtedly supported and driven by all of you.” Sending best wishes to all members of our ARMY (fandom name) and hoping that the new year brings you nothing but joy and good health. I have a deep affection for you.
At the same time, J-Hope and the rest of BTS are all serving their country in the military. A full group reunion in 2025 has been hinted about. J-Hope has also shared a video in which he shows Jimin shaving his hair and the army’s really felt this emotional moment. Join us on our Twitter account for more updates.
