Jisoo of BLACKPINK is in negotiations to appear in a movie. The news that Jisoo of BLACKPINK would be starring in the film “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” first broke on October 24 among industry insiders. According to YG Entertainment’s statement, “BLACKPINK’s Jisoo received an offer ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ and is reviewing positively.”
The story of “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” is based on a web book of the same name, and it tells the tale of Kim Dok Ja, whose life is abruptly transplanted into the world of the fiction he was reading. Both the web novel and the ongoing webtoon have been very well received by readers.
Lee Min Ho has apparently been given the role of Yoo Joong Hyuk, the original main character of the web book that Kim Dok Ja read, while Ahn Hyo Seop has been in talks since June to portray the lead role of Kim Dok Ja. Jisoo has apparently been offered the part of Lee Ji Hye, a student whom Yoo Joong Hyuk takes under his wing.
The parts of Yoo Sang Ah, Lee Hyun Sung, and Jung Hee Won were reportedly offered to Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, and Nana in addition to Jung Sung Il and Park Ho San.
Talks between BLACKPINK and Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint have included Jisoo
On October 24, industry insiders announced that BLACKPINK member Jisoo will star in the upcoming film Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. On the same day, a spokesman for YG Entertainment stated that Jisoo had been offered a role in the film Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, which she is currently considering favourably.
In June, it was announced that Lee Min Ho had been offered the role of Yoo Joong Hyuk, the protagonist from the web book that Kim Dok Ja read and that Ahn Hyo Seop was also in talks to play the starring role of Kim Dok Ja. However, Jisoo has apparently been offered the part of a main character.

In the film, Yoo Jung Hyuk plays a mentor figure to a coworker named Lee Ji Hye, and if Jisoo accepts the part, she will play Ji Hye. Yoo Jung Hyuk and Kim Dok Ja play pivotal roles as they try to undo the novel’s rewriting of history and return the world to its normal course.

Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Jung Sung Il and Park Ho San were Rumoured to Play Yoo Sang Ah and Lee Hyun Sung
There were rumours that Chae Soo Bin and Shin Seung Ho, in addition to Jung Sung Il and Park Ho San, would play Yoo Sang Ah and Lee Hyun Sung, respectively. Talks have also included Nana for this movie. Nana’s casting as Jung Hee Won in the forthcoming film was confirmed on September 6 by JTBC Entertainment. In response, Pledis Entertainment stated that Nana has been offered the role of Jung Hee Won and is now considering the offer favourably. We see Jung Hee Won as a person who will not stand for wrongdoing and who is tough, upright, and self-reliant. Fans are anticipating her role and metamorphosis in the film Mask Girl because of her recent stellar performance.
This work is based on the popular web novel of the same name and is written from the omniscient point of view of the reader. The plot follows protagonist Kim Dok Ja as he finds himself immersed in the world of the web book he has been reading. One day, Kim Dok Ja, an office worker who has been reading the web book Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse, finds himself in that world, while knowing that the novel’s bleak ending is inevitable. Together with Yoo Jung Hyuk, the story’s protagonist, he uses his foresight to change the future.
Yoo Jung Hyuk is a person who has overcome death many times and has a deep sense of duty. These events, however, have hardened him to the point of indifference, and his present goal is the restoration of the planet to its previous state. Fans of both the web novel and the webtoon adaption have shown a lot of love.
