In “Potato Research Institute,” a romantic comedy with a twist, Lee Sun Bin portrays Kim Mi Kyung, a quirky character whose life falls apart dramatically after she loses her work and her love. Seeking safety, she heads to her brother’s guesthouse where she discovers a job opening at the ‘Fairy Food Research Institute.’
One cold day, Kim finds a single potato seed on the frozen ground while working in the field. After realizing how much her life resembles a potato’s ability to bounce back, she becomes super interested in potatoes. This newfound love for them kicks off some really funny and heartwarming adventures for her.
It is anticipated that Kang Tae Oh will portray an unexpected change from his previous role as Lee Jun Ho in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.”
