After leaving the military, Kang Tae Oh might be getting ready for his debut project! Kang Tae Oh’s casting in the next drama “Potato Research Institute” (literal title) was announced on March 18 by OSEN.
“‘Potato Research Institute’ is a project that Kang Tae Oh is currently positively considering,” said Man of Creation, Kang Tae Oh’s agency, in reaction to the story.
Set at a rural potato research center, “Potato Research Institute” is a romantic comedy series. The lead, a character with flawless beauty who is also an outsider with surprising charisma, is being considered for the part by Kang Tae Oh. “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” writers Kim Ho Soo and director Kang Il Soo are back again for another project.

Assuming all goes according to plan, “Potato Research Institute” will be Kang Tae Oh’s long-awaited return to the spotlight after his military release. Kang Tae Oh is scheduled to be freed on March 19, 2024, after enlisting on September 20, 2022.
