Actor, singer, and composer Kim Hyun-joong hails from South Korea. The Korean dramas Boys Over Flowers and Playful Kiss featured him, and he is also a member of the boy band SS501.
Kim made his 2005 debut with SS501 and went on to record Break Down (2011) and Unlimited (2012), his debut solo albums in Korea and Japan, respectively. Kim is widely regarded as one of the most prominent Hallyu stars of the early 2010s in South Korea, thanks to his financial success.

Kim Hyun Joong Kid
On October 29 2022, a healthy newborn boy was born to the wife of singer/actor Kim Hyun Joong. Before this, in February of this year, Kim Hyun Joong personally announced his marriage to a woman who was not famous. It came to light that the pair secretly registered their marriage rather than having a public ceremony.
On June 23, 2005, with the release of the group’s debut EP, Warning, via DSP Media, Kim made his debut as a member of SS501. Later the same year, in late 2005, five months after their debut, they released their second extended play, Snow Prince.

They became famous overnight, taking home a slew of 2005 and 2006 new artist accolades. “Kokoro,” SS501’s first Japanese song, peaked at number five on the Oricon charts the following year, 2007. The group was one of very few South Korean musicians to get the Newcomer Award in January 2008 at the Japan Gold Disc Award event.
