The LGBTQIA community voiced their disapproval of the song’s title and other minorities’ use of the phrase “Love Wins” in an earlier version of the song. According to some internet users, the phrase “Love Wins” is used as a pride parade slogan, and the song may be diluting its meaning by depicting heteros*xual partnerships.
