Kimi no Iro (Your Colors), the widely awaited anime film, has set a new release date in Japan for August 30, 2024.
Along with the news, fans were given to a unique teaser and visual, which provided a glimpse into the film’s world.
Meet the Cast
The film stars Sayu Suzukawa as Totsuko Higurashi, Akari Takaishi as Kimi Sakunaga, Taisei Kido as Louis Kagehira, and Yui Aragaki as Sister Hiyoko.
These characters are introduced in the trailer, which increases the excitement for the film.

Behind The Scenes
Kimi no Iro is directed by Naoko Yamada, who has previously worked on K-ON! and A Silent Voice. It is produced by Science SARU.
Reiko Yoshida wrote the story, while Kensuke Ushio created the fascinating soundtrack. Takashi Kojima, the animation director, is in charge of adapting Daisuke Richard’s original character concepts for animation.

STORY inc., known for its cooperation with Makoto Shinkai on Weathering With You, is in charge of the film’s planning and production, while Toho handles distribution in Japan.

About the Story
Kimi no Iro tells the story of Totsuko, a high school student who has the remarkable ability to sense people’s emotions as colors.
Totsuko navigates social settings at a Christian Academy in Nagasaki to ensure the brightness of her friends’ and family’s “colors.”
However, her life changes when she meets a bright girl and a music-loving boy in a nearby bookstore. They establish a band and begin a musical adventure through adolescence.
