The intriguing story of a lady living a double life is told in the action-comedy K-drama Knight Flower, which is adapted from the webtoon of the same name. The historical drama has quickly been a favorite among viewers since its 12 January 2024 launch. New episodes air on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Joseon Period is the backdrop for this Korean drama, which centers on the protagonist’s nighttime adventures, which provide suspense by adding an air of mystery. Many viewers have lauded Lee Hanee for her complex performance as a widow who takes up martial arts on the side.
Whether Knight Flower will return for a second season is still not known as of Feb 2024. There are very few South Korean or East Asian TV shows that go on for more than a season before wrapping up their plots. Nevertheless, there are cases where this pattern deviates.
The first season finale will air on MBC TV on February 17th, so we won’t know the series’ destiny until then. The decision of the production companies will not be announced to the public until the first season concludes.
Knight Flower Season 2 Release Date
While Knight Flower Season 1 is still airing, there has been no word on when Season 2 will be available. We can anticipate the series’ return in early 2025 if it is renewed for a second season.
Knight Flower Season 2 Cast
A widow named Jo Yeo-hwa whose former marriage was to a member of Joseon’s most illustrious noble family is the protagonist of Knight Flower. But she has another secret identity—that of a vigilante who steps in to help the downtrodden. Her meeting with the astute military officer Lee Jong-won adds an interesting turn to the plot.
In the meantime, Kim Sang-joong portrays Yeo-hwa’s father-in-law Seok Ji-sung, who is a left-wing state councillor, and Lee Ki-woo portrays Soo-ho’s older brother Park Yoon-hak, who is a third-rank royal secretary who has won the trust of the king.
