An all-new making-of video for “Doctor Slump” on JTBC is now online! A romantic comedy, “Doctor Slump” follows two antagonists from different lifestyles as they suddenly become each other’s guiding lights at their lowest points.
Yeo Jung Woo, played by Park Hyung Sik, is a famous plastic surgeon whose career is on the brink of disaster after a bizarre medical incident, and Nam Ha Neul, played by Park Shin Hye, is a burnt-out anesthesiologist who works too much.
Lee Sung Kyung’s Hilarious Cameo in Doctor Slump
Lee Sung Kyung makes a cameo appearance in the drama, and a new behind-the-scenes video shows it. As Lee Sung Kyung sings, “Are you not delighted to see me?” yet Park Hyung Sik looks completely expressionless and stays silent as if he had forgotten it is his turn to speak.
Park Shin Hye says, “He’s having a hard time between two nonnas,” while laughing. As soon as Park Shin Hye locks eyes with Lee Sung Kyung, she can’t help but break into laughter, keeping the mood light. Their enthusiastic performances and impromptu remarks keep the audience in awe.
While filming their school sequences, Park Hyung Sik gives Lee Sung Kyung’s character a scoop of veggies and takes the sausages out of the side dish, giving Park Shin Hye’s character just vegetables.

As Lee Sung Kyung gets ready for Park Hyung Sik’s battle scene, he wonders, “Why is there no neck slice?” “I was worried I would have a lot [of action] to do today,” Park Hyung Sik jokes, “because yesterday, [Lee Sung Kyung] made ad-libs saying, ‘He used neck-slicing techniques and hit his philtrum.'” Watch the video that shows how it was made here.
