Jeremy Slater has developed a miniseries for Disney+ titled Moon Knight based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. As the sixth TV show in the MCU, it follows in the same vein as the movie.
The story follows Marc Spector and Steven Grant, two aliases of a man with dissociative identity disorder (DID), as they become embroiled in a mystery involving the gods of ancient Egypt. Slater is in charge of writing, and Mohamed Diab is in order of directing.
We’ve researched when Season 2 of Moon Knight might be available, and it looks like Marc and Steven may be back for more Marvel action.
Moon Knight Season 2 Release Date Speculation
The second season of Moon Knight does not have a release date as of March 2023. At first, Isaac made it quite clear that he does not consider Moon Knight to be a continuous Disney Plus program but rather a limited series.
“I’d never heard of Moon Knight before, and I collected comics when I was younger. I’d heard of Morbius, but I’d never heard of Moon Knight,” Isaac told Jared Leto during an episode of Actors on Actors. “I don’t know how the process was for you because it’s a feature film. We’re a limited series.”
The Fist of Khonshu may not ever join Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, but Moon knight writer and producer Jeremy Slater did reveal to Total Film his intentions for the character beyond the series.
“I don’t know is the truthful response. Because Kevin [Feige], the head of Marvel, makes all of those decisions,” he said. Look, he would be a member of the Avengers if it were up to me. I have no control over it, but I believe that is the intended outcome. As things stand, it seems unlikely that we will see a second season of Moon Knight, but as Feige once stated, with the MCU, you can never say never.
In a 2022 interview with Collider, Isaac said, “We’ll see what happens. But at the moment, there’s no official word.” Disney has not formally verified the rumors, but Isaac and Mohamed Diab teased fans with a TikTok video from Cairo in which it appeared that work had really started on Moon Knight season 2. There is undoubtedly something wrong with the character. Just what it is, we don’t yet know.

Moon Knight Season 2 Plot
Marc Spector’s adventures as Moon Knight would continue in the second season. Avatar Khonshu dealt with Harrow and his cultists in the first season, but many additional themes may be developed in a follow-up.
Many people probably want to see the masked hero take on Werewolf by Night, but we think it would be more interesting if the following series adopted the Shadow Knight plot. In this story, Randall, Marc’s brother, returned as the terrible Shadow Knight, a twisted version of Moon Knight who became a type of twisted avatar of Khonshu.
Marc’s third ego, the allegedly unscrupulous Jake Lockley, who shot Harrow (Ethan Hawkes), is similarly a loose end. We don’t think Marc or Steven know about him yet, but that probably won’t be the case for long.

Moon Knight Season Cast 2 Characters
Although there isn’t a confirmed cast list, Oscar Isaac would probably reprise his role as the titular hooded hero. As a result, Marc and Steven would definitely also appear, but the strange thing about Moon Knight is that you can never truly predict which of his personas will be present from story to story.
Moon Knight will require his patron deity if he returns. So, it is likely that F. Murray Abraham will return to the studio to record Khonshu, the voice of the moon god. In a similar vein, is it possible to imagine Layla El-Faouly (May Calamawy) leaving her husband or husbands? You’ll excuse us for being a little confused because it’s complicated.
We do not anticipate Arthur Harrow returning in any significant capacity as a Moon Knight character. Even though we’ve always adored the madman who smashes glass, we just can’t picture Hawke committing to portraying the Marvel villain once more. Moreover, you know he was shot in the head, so a comeback is challenging but not impossible. When we learn more about the Moon Knight cast, we’ll keep you informed.
Final words: There is currently no set date for the premiere of Season 2 of Moon Knight. At first, Isaac made it quite clear that he does not consider Moon Knight to be a continuous Disney Plus program but rather a limited series. Despite having a history of collecting comic books as a child, I had never heard of Moon Knight.
