Freeridge, the equally intriguing offshoot of On My Block, had its Netflix debut on February 2. It included a cast that included some returning characters as well as some new ones, and it had a strange, amusing, and heartbreaking premise.
The first season of the show, which consisted of eight 30- to 40-minute episodes, both established and ended numerous different plotlines. Given that this season was pretty well-made, the conclusion episode implied that there should be a second.
This is not inconceivable. The conclusion saw a number of storylines collide with one another and some agonizing revelations that would alter certain characters’ paths in the future. The majority of the episodes focused on Rusty’s (Michael Solomon) and Gloria’s (Keyla Monterroso Mejia) romance as well as a perilous mix-up between Marisol and her twin Mariluna (Peggy Blow).
All of this resulted in a fairly horrific conclusion when Mariluna ultimately met an unknowable death.

On My Block Freeridge Ending: Does Mariluna die?
Many unanswered issues were left for the audience at the conclusion of the final episode of Freeridge. The entire show dealt with a variety of issues and came close to solving them all. The story started with Ines (Bryana Salaz) learning a startling fact about her sister: Gloria’s boyfriend was actually hired by Gloria’s uncle to pose as her lover.
The girls then left their unwell father behind and proceeded to celebrate Thanksgiving at Mariluna’s house. Ines then proceeded to reveal Rusty’s secret to Gloria, who did not react well to it. Their mother was diagnosed with cancer while she was carrying Ines, and she yelled at her sister.
Eventually, Rusty was made to tell Gloria about the arrangement with her uncle, which caused her to disparage him as well. Later, Ines and Rusty argued while each was sitting outdoors. The two then shared a passionate kiss just before Gloria entered. She apologized to them both because she hadn’t noticed them kissing.
Freeridge then took a new route as Mariluna put out an intriguing idea for a game that would also earn Gloria and her father enough money to pay for the former’s treatment. However, ultimately, things went south. Mariluna was confused for Marisol when Joker and Sad Eyes showed around.
This ultimately resulted in a fight that was ended by a shot being fired. They found Mariluna’s body after hearing the gunshot and exiting the building. The show left a lot of it up in the air, so it’s possible that this isn’t the last for the beloved character.
In the most recent episode, among other things, Demi (Ciara Riley Wilson) and Cam (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) split up. They had a tenuous relationship at times, but it eventually came to a bittersweet end, with the ex-couple choosing to be friends.

Do Gloria and Rusty End Up Together?
Yes. Rusty and Gloria end up dating, although their relationship could not survive long. In the season finale, Gloria and Rusty are getting along just great until Rusty admits that Tonio had paid him to date Gloria. Even if Gloria and Rusty reconcile, something that occurs between Ines and Rusty in the first season finale raises the possibility of a future breakup.

Do Ines and Rusty Kiss In Freeridge?
In the season 1 finale, Ines and Rusty do engage in passionate kissing. After Rusty admits to Gloria that he was bought to date her, it takes place. Ines follows him as he makes his way outside to get some fresh air. Rusty recommends to Ines that she kiss him so she may move on after they dispute for a bit.
Rusty is kissed by Ines, who claims she felt nothing, but they both reappear and begin to make out. The moment Gloria steps outside to hunt for Rusty, they gradually cease kissing.
