Jimin, a member of BTS, causes a commotion with his upcoming track Let Me Free Part 2. The track will be included on his new album Face, which will be released on March 24.
Face, Jimin’s first full-length album, will come out on March 24, 2023. Before releasing his album, Jimin gave fans a taste of it with the pre-release single Let Me Free pt. The official music video for the lead-up single has also been unveiled, and it has quickly become a fan favorite.

In his hip-hop song Set Me Free Part. 2, BTS vocalist and visual artist Jimin expresses his own struggle to overcome feelings of sorrow, grief, and emptiness. Jimin says it is important for him to be able to let go of his negative ideas and thoughts in order to go on in life. Jimin’s focused stare dominates the song video, creating a bleak representation of his thinking.

“Look at me now/I won’t hide anymore even if it hurts/ Going insane to stay sane/ Raise your hand for the past me/Now set me free” Jimin sings. The plea to set himself free with the intense choreography that amalgamates contemporary with freestyle is captivating. The music video ends with Jimin shedding his dark thoughts (black clothes represent dark thoughts) to embrace the light (we see Jimin in a white outfit).

About the Upcoming Album
According to J-hope, the new solo record from Jimin has a “dark mood,” and the vocalist has said that the album is a “slam book” of Jimin’s thoughts, which have been clouded with numerous problems over the previous decade.
