Spurs forward Son Heung Min and his South Korean teammate Lee Kang In stunned fans last month with an off-field incident at the 2024 Asian Cup that left Son injured; he would subsequently be seen playing with a cast on one finger for two matches in a row.
Tensions were running high during the competition, but Korea was led by captain Son. The incident’s details came to light.
During a team breakfast in February, Son allegedly addressed the early departure of younger players, including Lee Kang In of Paris Saint-Germain, in his role as a seasoned leader.
A heated argument ensued as a result of this involvement, which regrettably became more intense. Lee and Son both experienced retribution as a consequence of the altercation. Officially, they’ve reconciled.
A certain incident has spread like wildfire through online discussion forums and social media. During yesterday’s match against Thailand, Son Heung Min and Lee Kang In jumped into an embrace, and the two were beaming from ear to ear.
