The Legend of Vox Machina fans has returned from the current New York Comic Con with a lot of positive news. Sam Riegel and Peter Habib performed an original song for the audience to get them back up to speed during a recap clip that was presented at a panel at the event featuring the series’ cast and executive producers. The team also revealed that Vox Machina will return for a third season on Prime Video, promising new adventures.
Following Season 1’s resounding success, Amazon is demonstrating a lot of faith in the popular Critical Role television series. Vox Machina, the beloved misfit crew of explorers featured in the Dungeons & Dragons series’ inaugural live-streamed campaign, was reintroduced to everyone in its first outing earlier this year.
The series, which retold the Briarwood arc and included a prequel tale about their first significant mission together, won almost universal acclaim from viewers and reviewers for its ability to capture both the epic feel of high fantasy and the more casual, chaotic nature that can accompany a friendly D&D session.
Vox Machina Season 3 Release Date
It might be some time before we see a third season of the fantasy series since season 2 was only available as of January 20, 2023. It all depends on when production on the project starts, but given that there was only a year between seasons 1 and 2, it appears possible that a third season will be released at the start of 2024.

Vox Machina Season 3 Plot
You’re talking about the Chroma Conclave storyline, Matthew Mercer remarked when asked about the Vox Machina season 3 narrative during the event. It is a very lengthy arc, the Chroma Conclave arc. That would be a very difficult adaptation to fit into a single season. We were frantically attempting to ascertain whether that was even conceivable. Thankfully, it isn’t, and season 3 has been approved.
Mercer’s remarks made it plain that the Chroma Conclave narrative would be covered by the program across more than one season, which implies that it will also be leading into season 3. The significant conflict with Thordak may therefore have to wait till then.
The third season of The Legend of Vox Machina’s plot may potentially serve as the starting point for the Taryon Darrington story arc. This story arc, which takes place after the group’s trip to Vasselheim and victory over the Chroma Conclave with The Vestiges of Divergence, focuses on three main narratives: getting to know Darrington, the group’s newest recruit; assisting Keyleth in completing the last leg of her Aramenté; and setting out to finally defeat Hotis.
That concludes the third season of The Legend of Vox Machina. Check out our recommendations on how to watch The Legend of Vox Machina season 2 and how many episodes it has, as well as our explanations of Earthbreaker Groon and Ripley, for more information on Vox Machina season 2.
